Our Story

We’d like to invite you to join us as we strive to bring beer back from whence it came. Remember when beer used to taste like beer? Before the massive amounts of hops, the purees, and the extracts, when you had a good chance of seeing through your pint glass. We do.

At Lowercase we are defined by what we are not. We aren’t big and we like that. We aren’t flashy and we like that. You won’t see us on grocery store shelves or on tap in a stadium. We believe that it is the little things that matter, that good beer is worth the wait, and that community drives our craft. It’s about process, intention, and care.

You can find our beer in small specialty stores throughout the NW, cozy restaurants & bars in and around Seattle, and at our warm and friendly taproom located in the historic Georgetown neighborhood.

So come on down and share a lager, most likely a pilsner, while celebrating simplicity of well-made and thoughtfully served suds. This is beer as it has always been.
